Starting a jazz-rock band

Hi all,
I am looking to put together a 'jazz-rock' band. The sound I am aiming for is jazz-influenced harmony with some 'unconventional' chord progressions in a rock context (verse and chorus structures with solo sections (sometimes extended solo sections :) ). My main inspirations for this project come from Steely Dan (for the fancy yet accessible songwriting) and The Allman Brothers (for the extended instrumental jams that I also have in mind. I have some original material written already and am very excited to develop my ideas with other musicians. If anyone is interested please feel free to shoot me a message :)
